Community Guidelines

The Dungeon Trainer is built around shared tables: friends, campaigns, and the wider community spaces where players meet. These guidelines describe how we expect people to treat each other in every social part of the Service, including profiles, messages, group chats, community posts, and any future space where you can meet players you do not already know. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Respect the people at the table
Play hard, disagree freely, and keep it about the game. Do not harass, bully, or threaten anyone. Hate, slurs, or discriminatory conduct toward any person or group has no place here. A rules argument or a difference in play style is never a reason to attack a person. If a table is not working for you, leave it; do not make it unpleasant for the people who stay.
2. Adults only, and absolute protection of minors
The Service is for adults: 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live. Community features that connect you with people you do not know require you to confirm this. Any sexual content involving minors, and any sexual advance toward someone you believe may be a minor, is absolutely prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities where the law requires it. If you believe an account belongs to a minor, report it.
3. Keep content within the table's rating
Shared and community-facing content stays at a PG-13 line: fantasy combat, peril, and dark themes are part of the game; explicit sexual content, graphic gore, and content glorifying real-world violence are not. Respect the boundaries a table sets for itself, and honor safety tools when a table uses them.
4. Protect privacy
Do not share another person's private information: real name, address, workplace, contact details, photos, or anything else they have not chosen to share here. Do not pressure anyone to reveal it. Doxxing, in any form, leads to removal.
5. No unwanted contact
When someone declines, withdraws, blocks you, or asks you to stop, stop. Repeated unsolicited messages, invitations, or applications are harassment. Creating a new account or using another surface to reach someone who blocked or restricted you is block evasion and is treated as a serious violation. Stalking behavior, on or off the Service, is grounds for removal.
6. Be honest about who you are and what you are running
Do not impersonate another person, a moderator, or the The Dungeon Trainerteam. Do not run scams, request payment from other players, or recruit for schemes. Describe your tables truthfully: schedule, expectations, and content. Deliberately misleading table or campaign information wastes people's trust and their evenings.
7. Keep the table here, and keep it safe
Our safety controls (blocking, reporting, moderation) only work inside the Service. Do not pressure anyone to move to another platform, share off-platform contact details, or meet in person. Community features are for online play. Nobody owes you their Discord, their phone number, or their address.
8. Nothing illegal
Do not use community features for anything unlawful, and do not post or link to illegal content. Where the law requires it, we cooperate with law enforcement.
9. Use reporting honestly
Report content and behavior that breaks these guidelines; that is what reports are for, and reports about safety are always welcome. Do not weaponize reporting: coordinated mass reporting, knowingly false reports, or using reports to retaliate against another player is itself a violation.
10. What happens when these guidelines are broken
Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, restrict specific abilities (such as publishing recruiting listings, sending applications or invitations, or messaging), suspend an account, or terminate it under the Terms of Service. Moderation decisions are made by people, and reports are reviewed with the evidence that was visible when the report was made. We do not promise a response within a fixed time, but safety reports are prioritized.
11. Versions and acceptance
These guidelines are versioned. This page always shows the current version, and features that involve meeting people you do not already know will ask you to accept the current version before you use them. If a material update is published, you may be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use those features.
