Before you sit down
Does everyone need a paid plan?
No. Multiplayer is included on every plan, the free one too. When the AI is the Dungeon Master, the host's plan funds its turns.
Can a person run the game instead of the AI?
Yes. Choose “I am the DM” and you narrate and adjudicate while the app keeps the dice, sheets, hit points, conditions and initiative. Those controls make no model call.
Can someone join halfway through a campaign?
Yes. Invite them by link, username or email at any point, and they join the same campaign and its shared transcript.
