Prepare the session

Prepare your 5E session with Scry

Describe a scene you are about to run and Scry projects the plausible ways it could unfold, in qualitative bands with complications and prep notes, so you walk in ready for the table's best ideas.

A Scry forecast: a branch marked likely, where a rogue sneaks past a sentry, with its immediate result, downstream consequences, complications and prep notes, and a second branch marked possible.
Scry forecasts a scene before you run it: the likely branches, complications, and prep, in qualitative bands.
What you get

Walk in ready for the table

The likely branches

Three to five ways the scene could go, each marked likely, possible or unlikely. Qualitative bands, not percentages.

The single point of failure

The assumption the scene quietly depends on, with a fallback ready if your players break it.

The pacing risk

Whether the scene risks dragging or rushing, with a one-line note on what to watch.

Prep notes for every branch

Each branch comes with its immediate result, the downstream consequences, the complications that could arise and concrete prep notes.

How it starts

Three steps to the table

  1. Create your free table

Make an account in a minute. No card required.

  2. Describe the scene

Set out the scene, the key NPCs with their goals, and the party, typed in or drawn from a campaign.

  3. Read the forecast

Review the branches, then deepen the one you most want to be ready for.

Questions

Before you sit down

Is Scry free?

Every account starts on the Free plan with daily Scry forecasts, and it does not expire. Paid plans raise the daily allowance; see the pricing page for the current numbers.

Does Scry run or judge my game?

No. Scry prepares the specific session you are about to run. It does not run the game or grade your choices as a Dungeon Master.

Does Scry use AI?

Yes. A model writes the forecast, and deepening a branch makes one more call. It is preparation for what your players might do, not a prediction of what they will.
